Myself and my children have been going to Dr. Hazlett for many years. He is the only dentist I have been to that spends time discussing options and reviewing your exam with you. I trust his judgement and have never felt that he recommended unnecessary dental work. As a busy mom, I value his front office staff incredibly, they work to squeeze my kids in for appointments and always call and remind me. They are just an all around friendly office. I wish all doctor's offices were run like this practice. I highly recommend him as a dentist.
I've been with Dr. Hazlett's practice since moving to Sarasota from New York 14 years ago. I've been VERY HAPPY and his staff is wonderful. Good synergy throughout the office and Dr. Hazlett is very honest, personable, and his manager, Pat, is the BEST! I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hazlett for nearly ten years and while I have always held a lot of respect for his expertise, at this time I feel the need to write a glowing review of how he coped with the Covid-19 pandemic when he re-opened his office last week. He and his staff were well prepared to handle the serious issue of sterility and did so professionally. They invested in a LOT of new, preventive environmental products that keep the patient rooms sterile. The staff wore masks, gloves and the dental technicians fully clothed/protected as thought they were ready to be in an operating room at Sarasota Memorial. I feel very comfortable, safe and secure. I applaud Dr. Hazlett and his staff for being progressive and tackling this serious, serious issue with the upmost professionalism and implementing new procedures and protocols.
I was referred to Dr. Hazlett by a personal friend. I am a retired dentist with 44 years in the practice of General Dentistry, and so I am intimately familiar with all aspects of dental office practice. In my conversations with Dr. Hazlett I found him to be very professional in his demeanor, thorough in his diagnosis, and thorough in his explanations of alternative treatments, including conservative options that do the job but are less costly for patients. I appreciate that approach. Not all situations require the most expensive materials, methods, and procedures. Suffice it to say I was given options and, being a retired dentist, could tell exactly what was going on during the procedure. I can assure you the work performed was very done well. Not to be overlooked in any way are his Staff, who were friendly, competent, and efficient. I would recommend this Dentist to any of my friends.
